Peekskill Pilates is an absolute gem. The studio itself is clean, open, and airy, creating a refreshing environment that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. I also really appreciate the schedule; they offer great class times for those of us working 9-5s. I started here in October as an intimidated newbie. I’ve always hated exercise and failed to stay consistent with other workouts, but Pilates just hits different. I began with private sessions and have since moved up to group reformer and reformer/tower classes, and I now officially consider myself a 'Pilates Princess.' I have Michelle to thank for this! She is incredibly welcoming and non-judgmental. She has a gift for letting you learn at your own pace while knowing exactly when to push you to the next level. I can’t recommend this studio enough!

So I have always been intimidated by the idea of pilates. But a few months ago I decided to take the plunge after years of thinking about it. I'm so happy I did. And equally happy that I found a great program at Peekskill Pilates. Its a lovely studio with very capable and patient teachers. I've had classes with the owner Adrianne in the beginning and now Danielle. It has been beneficial to not just my physical health but mental as well.

I had my first Pilates group class yesterday with Adrianne. She was very nice and attentive to everyone. The class was easy to follow yet very detailed. Adrianne explained both the correct way to do each movement and the mistakes to avoid, which was especially helpful since I’m brand new to Pilates. During the class, it didn’t feel too hard, but now my body is in that good kind of sore—every muscle feels worked. I’ll definitely be coming back for more group sessions and plan to try private lessons as well. The studio is very clean, in a great location by the Hudson River, next to a train station, and best of all, parking was no problem.
