Michelle Shea

Michelle completed her 600-hour Comprehensive Pilates Certification at Core Pilates NYC. She has experience working with a wide range of clients, including pre/postnatal individuals, seniors, and those managing chronic pain or recovering from injury.

Michelle Shea is a professional dancer originally from in Brooklyn, NY. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance with a minor in Psychology from SUNY Purchase’s Conservatory of Dance. Currently, she performs with various freelance projects throughout New York City, including Rioult Dance, and shares her love of movement by teaching young children at Midtown Movement and Dance Company.

Her journey into Pilates began as a way to support a healthier, more sustainable dance career, and it has since become an essential part of her daily life.

Passionate about the power of movement, Michelle aims to inspire students of all ages to move with confidence, awareness, and joy.

Michelle is the co-owner of Peekskill Pilates.
